About me

Hello! My name is Iman Moridi, and I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California. LMFT No: 129318

In the past decade, I have worked extensively with adults struggling with mental illnesses, substance use problems, and complex emotional challenges. My practice focuses on helping individuals, couples, families, and children from diverse cultural backgrounds strengthen personal and interpersonal relationships, navigate grief and loss, manage anxiety and depression, and heal from trauma. I strive to empower my clients to make autonomous decisions, improve their overall well-being, and enhance their performance at work, school, and in daily life.

While theory and technique guide the therapist in supporting clients toward their treatment goals, I believe that human love and the authentic presence of the therapist are two essential elements that shape the therapeutic relationship in a meaningful way—helping clients relieve emotional pain and uncover their true potential.

My Approach

I am dedicated to providing quality care and personalized support to my clients.

As a trained structural family therapist grounded in systems theory, my approach is integrative and client-centered. I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Psychodynamic Therapy—tailoring interventions to meet each client's unique needs.
